We probably recorded Vapour Trails last March or June of 97 in Bath with Mark [Vreeken] and first played it live in Holland. Gord Sinclair brought us the music. It's a tune you could really get carried away with. We certainly made attempts with Steve to turn it into a more complex thing but we never got a version that was better than the early versions. Gord had an abundance of lyrics for Vapour Trails and they changed a few times. So Gord and I had a lot of vocals to redo. There's a part in the last chorus where I'm singing a counter thing; I basically sing the bridge underneath what Gord's singing, and within the timing of that chorus it works out that you hear my strange voice a couple of times.
