"Use it up. Don't save anything for later"
.... a favourite saying of Raymond Carver's that I love and use on a daily
basis
when confronted with the dilemma of how to proceed in this "art world" we all
live in.
Perhaps it belies/shows a certain supreme confidence, but
to
me
it's a reminder that it's the doing.... the act.... the writing.... the
work.... not the number that matters. Right on, Ray.
